Trainer Tommy

Tommy Sutor- Program Director

Tommy began working at Push to Walk in September 2011. He received his master’s degree in Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in the spring of 2011. He also holds certifications from the NSCA and USAW and maintains his CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Tommy attended the three day NeuroRecovery Network (NRN) Locomotor Training Workshop in May 2012. While at East Stroudsburg University, Tommy was also a national qualifier in the hammer throw for the track and field team. tsutor@pushtowalknj.org




Trainer Isaak

Isaak Gorelov

Isaak began working at Push to Walk in September 2013. He received his PhD in Biology from the Center of Experimental Morphology, Republic of Georgia in 1988, studying the effects of exercise on the heart and skeletal muscles. He maintains his CPR/AED certifications and is an ACSM member. As a clinical exercise specialist, Isaak was originally trained at the Moscow Center for SCI and CP, created by V. Dikul who is one of the pioneers of a locomotor theory. While at State Institute for Physical Culture and Sports, Isaak played for a national Georgian handball team. igorelov@pushtowalknj.org


Trainer Cory

Cory Johnston

Cory began working at Push to Walk in April 2014. He received his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from SUNY Cortland in 2012. Cory is a NASM certified personal trainer and maintains CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. He was employed as a Locomotor Technician/Physical Therapy Aide prior to joining Push to Walk. cjohnston@pushtowalknj.org




Trainer Matt

Matt Lasky

Matt started interning at Push to Walk in January 2012, and transitioned into a part-time training position in July 2012. He successfully completed the Certified Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Apprentice program at Project Walk in California in June 2012. Matt earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University and currently holds a certification in Strength and Conditioning through the NSCA, as well as in CPR training. mlasky@pushtowalknj.org



Trainer Juan

Juan Quintana

Juan started volunteering at Push to Walk in September 2012, and transitioned into a position as an aide. In July 2013 he became a part-time trainer after receiving his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from William Paterson University. Juan attended the three day NeuroRecovery Network (NRN) Locomotor Training Workshop in February 2014 and maintains his CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. He also works in an orthopedic office as a physical therapist technician, in which he completed 150+ internship hours. jquintana@pushtowalknj.org



Trainer Christine

Christine Uporsky

Christine started working at Push to Walk in August 2010 as an aide. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from William Paterson University in August 2013 she became a trainer and the FES Systems Coordinator. Christine is an ACSM-certified personal trainer and maintains her CPR and First Aid certifications. She attended the three day NeuroRecovery Network (NRN) Locomotor Training Workshop in February 2014 and the FES Advanced Course at Restorative Therapies in October 2013. cuporsky@pushtowalknj.org




Trainer Tiffany

Tiffany Warren

Tiffany started working at Push to Walk in September 2010 as an aide and became a full time trainer in October 2012. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from William Paterson University in December 2009. She maintains her CPR/AED and First Aid certifications and is an ASCM Certified Personal Trainer. She also completed a 3 month internship at Hackensack Hospital’s Cardiac Rehab Center during her final semester. Event Coordinator

Stephanie Lajam

Stephanie began working at Push to Walk as an intern in the summer of 2009. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies in May 2010 from The College of New Jersey and returned to Push to Walk as a part time employee in October 2010. In January 2012 she became the full time Communications & Special Events Coordinator, responsible for all types of media outreach, manages the fund raising database and coordinates the various annual and fundraising events. slajam@pushtowalknj.org



Marketing Coordinator

Anthony Yodice

Anthony started working at Push to Walk as an intern in the fall of 2011. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Advertising in May 2012 from Ramapo College of New Jersey. In addition to internships in public relations and advertising at companies like Nickelodeon and Collegehumor.com, he previously worked at a New Jersey advertising agency before joining Push to Walk as the Marketing Coordinator in January 2014.
