Trainer Tiffany

Tiffany Warren - Program Director

Tiffany started working at Push to Walk in September 2010 as an aide and became a full time trainer in October 2012. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from William Paterson University in December 2009. She maintains her CPR/AED and First Aid certifications and is an ASCM Certified Personal Trainer. She also completed a 3 month internship at Hackensack Hospital’s Cardiac Rehab Center during her final semester. Tiffany attended the three day NeuroRecovery Network (NRN) Locomotor Training Workshop in February 2013 and the FES Advanced Course at Restorative Therapies in October 2013. twarren@pushtowalknj.org


Trainer Jackie

Jackie Applegate - Neuro Exercise Trainer

Jackie began working at Push to Walk in August 2013 as an aide. In September 2014 she became a part-time trainer after receiving her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training & Public Health from William Paterson University. Trainer Cory

Cory Johnston - Neuro Exercise Trainer & Scheduling Coordinator

Cory began working at Push to Walk in April 2014. He received his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from SUNY Cortland in 2012. Cory is a NASM certified personal trainer and maintains CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. He was employed as a Locomotor Technician/Physical Therapy Aide prior to joining Push to Walk. cjohnston@pushtowalknj.org




Trainer Matt

Matt Lasky - Neuro Exercise Trainer

Matt started interning at Push to Walk in January 2012, and started training full-time in January 2015. He successfully completed the Certified Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Apprentice program at Project Walk in California in June 2012. Matt earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University and currently holds a certification in Strength and Conditioning through the NSCA. He also attended the three day NeuroRecovery Network (NRN) Locomotor Training Workshop in February 2015 and maintains his CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. mlasky@pushtowalknj.org



Trainer Chris

Chris Meola-Neuro Exercise Trainer & Facility Coordinator

Chris began working at Push to Walk in August 2013 as an aide after witnessing a friend sustain a spinal cord injury. He received his bachelor’s degree in Recreation & Leisure with a concentration in Sports Management from St. Thomas Aquinas College in May 2009. He maintains his CPR/AED and First Aid certifications and is an NASM certified personal trainer. As of July 2015, Chris became a trainer at Push to Walk and continues to work towards his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at William Paterson University. cmeola@pushtowalknj.org



Trainer Juan

Juan Quintana - Neuro Exercise Trainer

Juan started volunteering at Push to Walk in September 2012, and transitioned into a position as an aide. In July 2013 he became a part-time trainer after receiving his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from William Paterson University. Juan attended the three day NeuroRecovery Network (NRN) Locomotor Training Workshop in February 2014 and maintains his CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. He also works in an orthopedic office as a physical therapist technician, in which he completed 150+ internship hours. jquintana@pushtowalknj.org



Trainer Christine

Christine Uporsky - Neuro Exercise Trainer, FES Specialist, & Education Manager

Christine started working at Push to Walk in August 2010 as an aide. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from William Paterson University in August 2013 she became a trainer and the FES Systems Coordinator. Christine is an ACSM-certified personal trainer and maintains her CPR and First Aid certifications. She attended the three day NeuroRecovery Network (NRN) Locomotor Training Workshop in February 2014 and the FES Advanced Course at Restorative Therapies in October 2013. cuporsky@pushtowalknj.org




Trainer Hope

Hope Edelman-Bookkeeper

Hope started working at Push to Walk in Spring 2014 as the organization’s bookkeeper. She has worked for various companies including ITT World Communications as a Senior Accounting Analyst, The Law Firm of Gibney, Anthony & Flaherty as the Legal Administrator and the Law Offices of Peter Van Aulen as the Accounting Manager. Her focus is on automating and updating accounting and office systems to improve daily operations and efficiency. She is responsible for administrating Push to Walk’s daily accounting. hedelman@pushtowalknj.org


Event Coordinator

Stephanie Lajam - Executive Communications Director

Stephanie began working at Push to Walk as an intern in the summer of 2009. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies in May 2010 from The College of New Jersey and returned to Push to Walk as a part time employee in October 2010. In January 2012 she became the full time Communications & Special Events Coordinator, responsible for all types of media outreach, manages the fund raising database and coordinates the various annual and fundraising events. slajam@pushtowalknj.org



Marketing Coordinator

Anthony Yodice - Marketing Coordinator

Anthony started working at Push to Walk as an intern in the fall of 2011. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Advertising in May 2012 from Ramapo College of New Jersey. In addition to internships in public relations and advertising at companies like Nickelodeon and Collegehumor.com, he previously worked at a New Jersey advertising agency before joining Push to Walk as the Marketing Coordinator in January 2014. Development Director

Candice Bates Hoff – Development Director

Candice began working part-time at Push to Walk in April 2015. For over 12 years, she has served as a non-profit fundraising professional for several voluntary health organizations in New York and New Jersey. Candice graduated in 1995 from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in English. Her duties here include donor stewardship, corporate and foundation relations and grant writing, planned giving, strategic planning, and annual appeal and other project support. Graphic and Web design

Sandra Turansky - Website & Graphic Design

Sandra began working at Push to Walk as an intern in the spring of 2009. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts: Interactive Media and Design in May 2009 from Ramapo College of New Jersey and continued to work for Push to Walk. Her responsibilities include maintaining and updating Push to Walk’s website, implementing an IT Service Plan, and providing graphic design support for special events and marketing projects.
