Anne Connor

Anne, a Basking Ridge resident, is employed as a Certified School Nurse at Bernards High School in Bernardsville, NJ. Prior to that she worked as a Registered Nurse in Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ. As a school nurse and health educator, her responsibilities include organizing wellness initiatives, health fairs and fundraising with her students and staff. As Bernards High School Key Club Advisor, she works with students on a variety of community service events. Since she loves to be outdoors and exercising, she is very proud of her most recent accomplishment: finishing a 198 mile race with her 12-member relay team, running from Miami to Key West, Florida raising monies for the Special Olympics. She is an active member of the Somerset County School Nurses Association, and works as the Chairperson of the Future Nurse Scholarship Committee. She also coordinates Job Shadowing Opportunities with Morristown Medical Center and high school students that are interested in entering the health care field. She is very attached to Seton Hall University, where she received her undergraduate BSN, Graduate MPA and School Nurse Certification. She cherishes and remains very active with her Seton Hall “Family” and with the Seton Hall Alumni Association as a member of the Hazard Zet Forward Society and Pirate Blue. She is excited about the opportunity to join the Push to Walk Board. aconnor@shsd.org
