Amanda began volunteering at Push to Walk in March 2018 after completing a few observation hours for a school course. She was hired as an aide in May 2018. Amanda completed her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at William Paterson University in May 2019 and was promoted to Neuro Exercise Trainer at Push to Walk in July 2019 where she works with clients after they’ve completed physical therapy. She maintains her CPR/AED and First Aid certifications and completed the 3-day FES Advanced Course at Restorative Therapies Inc. in December 2019. Amanda is an ISSA certified Exercise Therapist and Personal Trainer and is currently working towards becoming an ACSM certified Exercise Physiologist. Prior to working at PTW, she completed a 4-month internship at Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health Concussion Center. aquintero@pushtowalknj.org
