Push to Walk Celebrates Move to Montvale, NJ’s Medical Hub by Hosting Grand Opening Event

Montvale, NJ 3/26/24– Push to Walk (PTW), a non-profit organization providing individualized workouts and resources for people with spinal cord injury, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and other chronic neurological impairments celebrated their move to Montvale, NJ. Clients, donors, supporters, and local officials joined the PTW staff at their Grand Opening event at the new location. The celebration included a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Montvale’s Mayor Ghassali and live demonstrations using wearable robotics. These exoskeletons enable people with all different abilities to walk, even those who cannot otherwise walk at all!  Clients also shared their personal stories of their strides at Push to Walk, thanks to their ongoing training and specialized workouts

Push to Walk kicked off the night with client demos showcasing training techniques using the Ekso NR and Indego robotics used in PTW’s robotics program. The audience was visibly in awe as they watched these robots transform and ignite mobility. Clients took over 1,500 steps in the robot that night!
